Ownership and Publishing Schedule:

Annals of Punjab Medical College (APMC) is the official Medical Research Journal of Punjab Medical College and Faisalabad Medical University, Faisalabad http://www.pmc.edu.pk/ since 2007. Initially it was bi-annual from 2007 to 2014 and is then publishing quarterly since 2015. It is available online as well as print publication. Online, it is available as full text with illustrations and browsing is free.  It contains review articles, original research articles, case reports and letters to editors. Research articles from undergraduate as well as postgraduate students and young scholars are encouraged for publication. All articles must be written in the light of the guidelines of the International Committee of the Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). These can be viewed and downloaded from  INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF MEDICAL JOURNAL EDITORS .

Articles for publication in Annals of PMC should be submitted to the Editor of APMC online. For this purpose, it is mandatory for the authors and peer reviewers to register themselves by making a personal account for submission of articles and for responding as peer reviewer. The author must get approval certificate of the research study from Ethical Review Committee from the institution before commencement of the research study. The  Instructions to authors should be strictly followed. Each manuscript should be accompanied by a Letter of Undertaking signed by each author that the manuscript has not been previously published & not submitted to any other journal for publication.

Editing Charges (Non-refundable) Rs. 5000/- For overseas (US$ 100)

It will cover the following aspects of the manuscript.

After Acceptance of the article: publication fee of Rs. 7000/- will be charged from the corresponding author. One complimentary copy will be issued to the main author and for any additional copy Rs. 2000/- (US $ 200) will be charged. If editor attested copy will be required only Rs. 1000/- will be charged.  US$ 20/- per copy for overseas. Payment for additional copies should be added in the publication charges.

Fast Track Processing of Manuscript: The duration of the fast-track processing is approximately 40 days. If the author wants to get his/her manuscript through fast-track, He/she should clearly mention it on the cover letter. Rs. 10,000 additional fees will be charged (other than the processing fee of Rs. 5000/- US$ 100 for overseas) at the time of submission (Due to the increasing cost of publication, the management has imposed a fast-track fee of Rs. 10,000/- US$ 200 for overseas). The fast-track charges are non-refundable. The rest of the terms and conditions will remain constant. There is no guarantee of acceptance or publication fast-track. Authors are requested not to opt for fast-track processing unless it is extremely essential.

It is registered with District Faisalabad Administration under section 6 of the press, newspaper, news agencies and books registration ordinance - 2002 vide No. 3(25)DCO/SG/2006/6059-63. It is recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and Higher Education Commission (HEC) Serial No. 19 in Category-"Y". It is indexed with International Standardized Serial Number (ISSN) and eISSN, Registered and indexed with the database of Medical Journal Articles of Pakistan PakMediNet http://www.pakmedinet.com/APMC. Digital Object Identifier (DOI) by crossref and indexation with some other bodies is in progress.Indexed & Abstracted By  Index Medicus of WHO
